Andrea Faridah Busemann was born in Duisburg, Germany, on September 19th, 1967. Today she and her family live in Freiburg, where she studied to become a middle school teacher of German, English and art. She went on several journeys to Asia and converted to Islam in 1991. In 2000, Faridah published her first children’s book of Islamic wisdom tales.
